The client’s brief for this 8,000 square foot home in TriBeCa was to create a seven bedroom home, home office, amenity spaces, and great room for entertaining large gatherings. The commission included the design of a custom thirty person dining table, monumental kitchen, bar, sculptural spiral stair, and the interiors throughout as well as interior architecture, historic window replacements, and extensive mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, structural work. The focal space of the project is the 40’ by 40’ great room with 27’ ceilings, Renaissance Revival detailing, and a Keith Haring mural painted directly onto one of the original walls in the building.

The clients requested that the design of their pied-à-terre feel like a boutique hotel. The project reconfigured the existing alcove studio into a new one bedroom plan with a new kitchen, bathroom, home office, and custom millwork throughout.

This 2,500 square foot duplex overlooking the Museum of Natural History was fully renovated to create three bedrooms, a home office, media room, and three full bathrooms. The client’s request was to work with as much of what existed as possible while creating a fun, colorful, and comfortable atmosphere. The project included extensive mechanical work including air filtration, a heat recovery ventilator, and new ducted heating and cooling throughout.

This one bedroom, one and a half bath, home was configured with a guest sleeping alcove, and custom millwork containing a media center, bar, and kitchen.
Custom Furniture
The Totem Side Tables were designed for our clients of a Lincoln Square Pied-à-terre. The interior design of the project called for side tables with a slender footprint, large tops, and a significant visual weight to help balance the placement of elements in the living room.

This penthouse apartment had previously been two sperate units combined inefficiently into a two bedroom plan. The design called for a large galley kitchen and monument bar open to a living and dining are for entertaining. The two bedrooms were reconfigured with walk-in closets and space for a home office. A foyer, utility room, central air and heating, and half bath room were added to plan.

This historic schoolhouse building was renovated for a creative family to raise their growing family in. Historic elements were mindfully refurbished while new elements we added with modern detailing and finishes for a playful contrast.

This 2,500 square foot loft renovation was previously a garment factory. The design resourcefully reconfigured and upgraded the existing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing while being careful to efficiently refinish as much of the original loft as possible. A new chef's kitchen suitable for entertaining large parties as well as new bathrooms, a laundry room, bedrooms, and an office were added to the plan.

This 1600 square foot alcove one-bedroom apartment was strategically renovated to create the impression of a much larger home. The design was for a new "town and country" interior aesthetic including a classic shaker style kitchen, cocktail bar with built-in appliances, custom millwork throughout, refurbished existing brick and oak floors, a metal framed "loft-style" glass wall separating the alcove bedroom, and new bathroom.
